For rear-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles, we always recommend installing a multi-plate self-locking differential, which provides traction even when one of the driven wheels is in the air or on an extremely slippery surface. Quaife worm gear differentials are an excellent and affordable option for front-wheel drive vehicles. We mainly change gear ratios in less powerful cars with naturally aspirated engines, and more durable clutch kits are worthwhile if the engine power is increased. We always take an individual approach to the various options for more rigid mounting of differentials, gearboxes, axle shafts, and other components, as well as the appropriate choice of gearbox modifications, including short shifters.
